BIKE ID
Terms of use
Version 2026-10-01.
Document preparation: operator identity, support contact, retention periods and provider disclosures must be finalized before public operation.
About the service
Bike ID stores digital bike IDs, components and service history, helps you find workshops and publish advertisements. A passport does not replace ownership documents, state registration or technical condition inspection.
Account and data accuracy
Provide accurate information and register only bicycles that you have the right to dispose of. Do not use someone else's documents, frame numbers or accounts. Keep your password secret. Minors use the service with the consent of a representative required by local law.
Workshops and maintenance
The workshop is responsible for its contacts, services, prices and work performed. Access to the passport is granted with the permission of the current owner, usually for 24 hours; access to documents is permitted separately. Service records preserve the provenance of the work and are not edited by the owner. Errors in such records should be reported to the workshop and operator.
Sales and Verified
The parties independently agree on the transaction, payment, transfer and inspection of the bicycle. Verified means the seller's phone number is verified, matches the passport holder, and there is no active theft flag in Bike ID at the time of verification. This is not a guarantee of ownership, quality of the product, absence of hidden defects, or security of the transaction.
Theft and disputes
Report theft reliably. Marking the Bike ID and checking the frame number helps detect a conflict, but does not replace contacting the police. If you have a registration dispute, provide documents through the established support channel. Do not disclose unnecessary personal information in public announcements.
Content and complaints
Post only content that you have the right to use. Scams, threats, illegal products, spam, and unauthorized third party personal information are prohibited. You can report an ad or workshop and block the user. The operator may limit content or account depending on the circumstances; The appeal procedure is clarified through support.
Subscriptions and payments
Subscription prices are shown in USD. Before payment, the full amount of payment, period, rules for extension and cancellation must be indicated. Returns and mandatory consumer rights are determined by applicable law and payment platform rules. Deleting your account does not in itself cancel your subscription with the external payment provider.
Maps, parts resource and limitations
The directory and map use data from third party sources: points, contacts and hours may be incomplete or out of date. The absence of a dot does not prove the absence of workshops. The resource of the components is a guideline; Check wear physically and follow manufacturer's instructions. Make sure your bike is safe before riding.
Changes and applicable law
Significant rule changes should be communicated in advance in an accessible manner. Mandatory consumer and user rights under local law remain. These conditions do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded by law. The operator's legal details, contact details and applicable procedures must be published prior to the public launch.
